The Isaac Newton Project is an interactive exhibition project that allows visitors to perform scientific experiments. Two experiments are highlighted: the universal law of gravitation and the decomposition of white light. Spheres are arranged to reproduce the universal gravity of celestial bodies. Newton’s mathematical formula is used to explain the gravitational forces between the spheres. A projection inside a prism allows visitors to reflect on the principle of the decomposition of white light. They can thus understand how the visible light spectrum is divided.
Le projet Isaac Newton est un projet d’exposition interactive qui permet aux visiteurs de réaliser des expériences scientifiques. Deux expériences sont mises en évidence : la loi universelle de la gravitation et la décomposition de la lumière blanche. Des sphères sont disposées de manière à reproduire la gravité universelle des corps célestes. La formule mathématique de Newton est utilisée pour expliquer les forces gravitationnelles entre les sphères. Une projection à l’intérieur d’un prisme permet aux visiteurs de réfléchir au principe de décomposition de la lumière blanche. Ils peuvent ainsi comprendre comment le spectre de la lumière visible est décomposé.
